In 1558, bishop Peder Svart (Black) was given the assignment to write the chronicle of king Gustav I Vasa. Now it is out in a new modern version.
The first part och the chronicle stretches from early 1500 to 1534. Gustavus was elected king in 1523 and in 1534, Eric, his oldest son, was born. The book therefor includes the end of the war against Denmark och the reformation and the coronation in 1527.
Of course, you can hardly belive a single word in the book, but it is fun to read.
